Winnipeg or Boston? RG meetup '10
Let us settle this now with a good ol fashion democratic vote

Winnipeg

Pros
-Lots of RG in that area
-I've never been to Canada!
-Poutine

Cons
-fucking cold
-Canadians

Boston

Pros
-Lots of RG in that area
-Pax east!
-Felicia Day might be there. This could be my shot

Cons
-fucking cold
-lets be honest. She is way out of my league

I'd be interested in either, but my work situation will dictate availability.

PAX would be awesome. I would be doing it even without RG showing up, if I had the money.

But I really don't. I can't make Boston. Already disappointed the PA people over that.

I hope it is one of the animal print snuggies. Even thou its mid november, I am still wearing flip flops and t-shirts to school. The AC still comes on here. Winter is coming thou, I think the high today was in the 70's.

Fuck Atlanta, totally agree, but Memphis is about as far north as I could go on wheels.

envy me.

I will try to make it regardless of where it is. I know I've told a couple of you already, but I'm quitting my job to go back to school full time, so I will be pretty damn poor. However, I will try my hardest to be there.

If you're afraid of Winnipeg being too fucking cold, don't come in the winter.

And if you really want poutine, lets all go to Montreal, I'd have to look around a bit to actually get proper poutine around here. Mostly they just use mozzarella cheese instead of cheese curds, and that's just not poutine.

Veal, there's a really good french bistro at the corner of Tache and Provencher that has really good poutine. I'm not sure if it's still there though. Think it was called Promenade Bistro. Apparently it was taken over by a new chef so I don't know if the poutine is still any good. You'd have to check it out and let me know Razz

iirc Paladins also has pretty good poutine.
